From the shenanigans in the Senate to the disintegration of Rob Ford, all eyes are focused on the antics of our trusted public figures. Yet despite these antics the markets remain strong, the economy is gaining momentum and employment rates are dropping.
The question to ask yourself is not whether the economy has recovered, but to consider just how strong it is to thrive in such political volatility.
So if you are still blaming the economy for lack of sales; lack of growth; lost customers; employee dissension; then it’s time to remove your cranium from the dark place from whence it rests. “It’s the economy” is no longer an excuse.
Any changes that have emerged are now solidified and it’s time to put forth the effort and investment to figure out just exactly how the market functions today; where to find the customers you once lost; and how to attract and retain relationships with uber risk adverse customers.
It’s no longer the economy. It’s you.
